How do I accept EcoCash payments online?
Register for Lango, create a payment link or drop the hosted checkout on your site, and share it. Your customer opens it, chooses EcoCash, and approves the prompt on their phone. No website or developer is required to start.
Do I need a website to take EcoCash?
No. You can create an EcoCash payment link in the dashboard and send it on WhatsApp, or print a QR code for the counter. Add the API later when you want EcoCash inside your own checkout.
What does it cost to accept EcoCash with Lango?
A flat rate on what you collect, previewed to the cent before every charge — commission, IMTT and transfer fee itemised — with no setup fee, no monthly fee and no cut of your cash sales. You decide whether to absorb it or pass it to the customer.
What happens if the network times out mid-payment?
The payment sits in an honest "unknown" state and Lango keeps checking with the provider until it resolves. You are never shown "failed" while the answer is still pending, which is what causes customers to be charged twice on other gateways.
